We stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The rooms were a good size, very clean and very well equipped. We loved the restaurant where we ate every morning and most evenings, and the menu was extensive, varied and delicious. We made full use of the facilities and spent plenty of time in the gym, spa, magnificent swimming pool and the driving range. But the highlight of our stay was the professionalism, friendliness and experience of the reception staff who went above and beyond to help us with shopping, finding us a private jeep tour when all the listed ones were booked out, and being incredibly accommodating with our early check-in and late check-out requests… thank you so much!! I highly recommend this hotel!!

This hotel is quite luxurious and spacious, the bed is clean and comfortable. In addition, the service attitude of the staff here is also very good, the food here is also quite good, I had a great night. If you love the lake view, then I think this place is quite suitable because the front is quite large and beautiful lake view. There is also a swimming pool for those who love swimming. I will rate 5 stars for this hotel.

Stayed here after visiting the old quarter and Halong Bay as we had 2 more days before flying out. Wanted somewhere with a pool to chill out after the madness. The staff were lovely, rooms big and clean and we enjoyed the pool and downtime we were after. We ate in the hotel and although “hotel prices” found them reasonable compared to many hotels we have stayed in over the years- about $7 AUD for a pasta for example. We also had fun using the driving range- hot work though! Now the negatives- not much around Westlake near this hotel, nice to walk and see the locals get together beside the lake and exercise but no where really to eat. Very basic Vietnamese places the locals eat at, we’re not fussy and ate in many local restaurants in the old quarter but the carts aren’t for us. We did enjoy local coffees at a few cafes but they don’t serve food. The other negative, this is also a social club for locals, obviously with money. Dinner time was very noisy as they let their kids scream and play in the foyer which is right next to the restaurant. Again, we have kids and want them to have fun but not yelling so much we can’t have a conversation over dinner.

The old hotel has updated the rooms; however, the rest of the facility is very tired. The hotel attracts several families who consume the space as the children are left with nannies and carers rather than parents. Be wary that the pictures do not reflect what is reality. The worst part of our stay has been the lack of response from the hotel to the disruption from the room next door. Just after 10.00 pm a man returned to his room and proceeded to slam the doors, yell, scream, and vomit very loudly repeatedly. There is no soundproofing between the rooms. When we rang the hotel to suggest the person next door was not well, the noise was terrible and action was needed the hotel took no action.

Stayed here during a work travel. This hotel was close to our event venue and the service is good. The location is also not bad as the famous old quarter is just 4km away and easily accessible by Grab. The only improvement i would recommend is that the breakfast cost (when not included under stay) is a bit steep, I ate out on all the days since much better and cheaper options were available outside. Also, one of the semi-lake view room that we saw was a tennis court view ! So it can be misleading while booking, thankfully we stuck to our city view room since it was much reasonably priced.
